A new collection of three stamps was launched on 11 December in Luanda, by the Foundation in partnership with Office of Angola, in greeting the 87th birthday of Dr. António Agostinho Neto in a gesture of reflection in honor of 30th anniversary of his passing away.
The stamps in memory of Agostinho Neto portray the founder of the nation to inspect a school in the maquis, the ceremony of conferring the title of Dr. Honoris cause of, University of Lagos, Nigeria, and in the act of swearing to the degree of Commander in Chief of FAPLA.


With values set at 40, 50 and 150 Kwanzas, were stamped by the Foundation President Dr. António Agostinho, Mrs. Maria Eugénia Neto, in a ceremony held at the International Telecommunications.
In the words of Chairman of the Board of Directors Office of Angola, Francisco Esperança, who stressed the seal as a symbol of nationality and spirituality, "... talk of Agostinho Neto is undoubtedly one climb stairs without end, for the Their contribution is infinite. "
At the time, Mrs. Maria Eugénia Neto, said that the stamps represent a landmark for the FAAN, as the act contributes to the mutual preservation of Agostinho Neto, in the collective memory in our country and the world.
The widow of Agostinho Neto stressed that the greatest nationalist always been concerned with the institutions of his country, concluded that the post office have a decisive role in transforming the world into a global structure, where the distances are no longer felt, making the wishes but easy to combine, thereby promoting the exchange at all levels.
The event, hosted the launch of a collection of stamps on the visit of Pope Benedict XVI to Angola, and the first seal Angola flavored with the odor of coffee.
