May 25 Commemorates the Africa Day, the date was set by the Organisation of African Unity in 1963. In July 2002, this organization has been replaced by "African Union". The African Union (AU) was founded in 2002 and is the successor organization to the Organization of African Unity.

Dr. Isaltino Morais receives Ms. Maria Eugenia Neto, Chairman of the Founders, on 30 April in the City Council of Oeiras in Portugal.

The pioneers of OPA "Organization of Pioneers of Agostinho Neto" from Ingombotas Municipality, visited on May 5, 2010, the facilities of the Dr. Antonio Agostinho Neto, at  Street  Major Kanhangulo (formerly Street right of Luanda). The visit was part of the framework of the activities planned for the 1st semester of the year. Mrs. Luzolu Miguel, Gabriela Nunes, Amadeu Monteiro and Adilson Andrade respectively accompanied the pioneers.

The Minister of Culture of Cuba, Dr. Abel Prieto, visited on April 27 the Foundation following his official visit to Angola. He was accompanied by Dr. Cornélio Caley, Vice Minister of Culture of Angola and Ambassador of Cuba in Angola, Pedro Ross Leal and his wife Nancy. Was received in FAAN by General João Saraiva de Carvalho, Tetembwa, administrator of the foundation, representing the President, D. Maria Eugénia Neto.
